30 Σεπ The World Is in Our Classroom
The World Is in Our Classroom
What does it really mean to be a Global Citizen?
Our 3rd Grade Middle School students explored this question through discussion and debate, sharing ideas about diversity, responsibility, solidarity and the impact of our everyday choices.
We talked about the world we live in — and the role each one of us can play in making it a better place.
Because being a global citizen is not just about understanding the world.
It is about feeling connected to it, caring about it and taking action.
And sometimes, one simple thought says it all:
“You are not a drop in the ocean.
You are the entire ocean in a drop.”
Our classroom may have four walls, but the world is in it.
